HBP at construction of the LNG terminal
The value of all works provided by Hydrobudowa Polska and commissioned by the general contractor of the terminal is net 111 million PLN.
Every day Hydrobudowa Polska is more engaged in the project of strategic importance for power safety of the state regarding Construction of the Liquefied Natural Gas Regasification Terminal in Świnoujście. The International Consortium of Saipem – Techint – PBG being the general contractor of this project has signed with HBP the next contract for erection and construction works. At the same time the total value of all contracts is net 110.9 million PLN.
Hydrobudowa Polska has been assigned with works regarding e.g. execution of pre-stressed reinforced concrete tanks of outer diameter almost 80 m and height over 50 m. At present foundation works are well under way. The design provides for full-containment tanks (tank inside tank). Inside the reinforced “shell” the cryogenic steel tank will be provided of 160 000m3 capacity which will be purposed for storage of liquefied gas at temperature of -163o C.
Works already commissioned to Hydrobudowa (at present talks are under way regarding extension of works scope) shall be completed till the half of 2013, so a year before the scheduled completion of the whole project regarding construction of the LNG terminal in Świnoujście.
