Jerzy Ciechanowski

Mr. Jerzy Ciechanowski has higher education, he graduated from the Faculty of Water Reclamation at Poznań University of Life Sciences, post-graduate studies at the Warsaw University of Technology, Faculty of Water Construction and MBA studies at Wielkopolska School of Business at University of Economics in Poznań.
He started his professional career in Energopol – 7 Poznań, where in 1978 he started work as a trainee engineer.From 1978 to 1984 he was the site manager at Zbiornik Mietków, Dobrmież.From 1984 he directed the construction of the cascade of reservoirs on Nysa Kłodzka Kozielno and Topola and Sosnówka reservois.Having passed all the stages of the career ladder, in 1990 we was nominated for the Technical Director, and on the 10th October 1990, after winning the contest, he became the General Director of the State Enterprise Energopol - 7 in Poznań.As a Director of the State Enterprise he led to converting the state enterprise into State Treasury joint-stock company in 1992. In 1996 he led the company Energopol - 7 to complete privatization, meaning to the sale of shares of the State Treasury to the private entity.After 14 years of managing the Company, in October 2004 he submitted his resignation from acting as the President of the Executive Board.On this 28th February 2006 he was nominated for the position of the President of the Executive Board of Hydrobudowa Śląsk S.A. Family situation forced him to submit his resignation from acting as the President of the Executive Board on this 15th June 2007, effective on this 18th June 2007
